This story has some interesting information, and some of the photos in the gallery with it are good. I think that in the past a few warships ended up at Alang, but the shame was too great, and they mostly get scrapped at home or sunk as diver attractions or targets.

I wonder how old that research is for the article. The institution formerly known as the Naval Historical Center was been formally changed to the Naval History and Heritage Command in December.
